We found it works great for this use case — covered outdoor potted plants that aren’t getting full garden exposure but still need that regular nutrient boost. A practical note: the formula is labeled for indoor use because indoor formulas are usually less concentrated than full outdoor garden formulas. For a few covered outdoor potted plants like ours, it’s fine and works well. For a full outdoor garden bed, you’d want to grab an outdoor-specific formula instead since it’d be more cost-effective and dialed in for that environment.

Water it in after applying. Don’t skip the water step. The liquid food needs to be carried into the soil by water — pumping it on dry soil without watering doesn’t get the nutrients down to the roots where they’re needed.
Don’t over-apply. More isn’t better with plant food. Stick to the schedule. Over-feeding can stress plants the same way under-feeding can.
